Will you be attending a conference in Chicago this summer? If so, don’t miss the world’s largest and most delicious annual food festival – The Taste of Chicago! The Taste – July 9th through the 13th – is held in Grant Park and features hit bands, family-friendly activities, and of course, food from all sorts of Chicago-area restaurants! The best part about Taste of Chicago (besides the food of course) is the free admission. That being said, we do recommend bringing at least $40-$50 per person to allow for proper taste-testing and some drinks to wash it all down. Food and beverage tickets are sold in strips of 12 tickets for $8 (includes $2 charge for Taste amenities). As a guide, larger food items are about 10 tickets and smaller portions are roughly six tickets. Restaurant vendors also sell taste-test portions for about four tickets.
